Victoire Gonzalvez’ installation can be conceived as a reinterpretation of the anatomical Venus. These wax models created at the beginning of the 18th century to teach medicine – dissectable female bodies molded from cadavers – had an oddly eroticized appearance. The „Synthesized Blue“exhibition presents the interstitial works of artist Victoire Gonzalvez. The blue reference color of the exhibition title circulates between different liquids, screen backgrounds, household products and a tropical blue gustatory fantasy. Sent With Love

In October 2020, the artistic duo Farès Hadj-Sadok and Victoire Gonzalvez begins with the project “Sent with Love”. Love letters were exchanged by the Post office containing artworks.

Sintafoam Diary

Sintafoam Diary is a solo exhibition nourished by encounters of different trades who have in common the production of simulacra. “Sintafoam” refers to a resin prized in the toy industry for its ability to imitate other materials. Dame Tartine

Dame Tartine is a sculpture made entirely in butter, a formless material with variable consistency. It is named after a palace in Mirapolis theme park constructed in Courdimanche in 1987, a sculpture that reflects the materiality of butter.

Reliquary

A reliquary was designed for an orthopedic shoe sole. This object is produced in mass, but it has nevertheless become charged with a new presence. It is a prosthesis, an extension of the body, which therefore meets the definition of a relic.

Joan Glory Peel

Joan Glory Peel (2018-2020) is a design fiction project of a synthetic silicone hymens line which comes in four versions: “Imperforate“ “Media Luna“ “Once Upon“ and “Natural Beauty “. Each object is inspired by a current open trade codes: an outcome of an investigation inside a “newfound virginity” market.
